Review - Undeadly By Michele Vail

Undeadly by Michele Vail

The day I turned 16, my boyfriend-to-be died. I brought him back to life. Then things got a little weird...
Molly Bartolucci wants to blend in, date hottie Rick and keep her zombie-raising abilities on the down-low. Then the god Anubis chooses her to become a reaper-and she accidentally undoes the work of another reaper, Rath. Within days, she’s shipped off to the Nekyia Academy, an elite school that trains the best necromancers in the world. And her personal reaping tutor? Rath. Who seems to hate her guts.
Rath will be watching closely to be sure she completes her first assignment-reaping Rick, the boy who should have died. The boy she still wants to be with. To make matters worse, students at the academy start turning up catatonic, and accusations fly-against Molly. The only way out of this mess? To go through hell. Literally.

My Review:

I received an advanced copy of this book to read through NetGalley, The book is definitely YA and the language and sarcasm is geared towards it, I have to say very annoying for those that don't talk that way but understandable to set the tone.

Besides the language my only other complaint would be the slow start, it bombards you with information which sets you off a bit as being bored, however, dont give up.. Once your past that it is a fun, quick and enjoyable read with awesome characters.

This book is enjoyable having some twists, romance, and action. I have passed the recommendation on to the Young Adult Librarian in our town, I know the teens are going to love this book, and I recommend it to you too. A well written book with a great plot and characters. I personally can't wait to read the next in this series.
