Until I Die: Review

Title: Until I Die
Author: Amy Plum
Release Date: May 8th 2012
Publisher: HarperCollins
Format: ARC from Publisher

Kate and Vincent have overcome the odds and at last they are together in Paris, the city of lights and love.

As their romance deepens there’s one question they can’t ignore: How are they supposed to be together if Vincent can’t resist sacrificing himself to save others? Although Vincent promises that he’ll do whatever it takes to lead a normal life with Kate, will that mean letting innocent people die? When a new and surprising enemy reveals itself, Kate realizes that even more may be at stake—and that Vincent’s immortality is in jeopardy.

In Die for Me, Amy Plum created a captivating paranormal mythology with immortal revenants and a lush Paris setting. Until I Die is poised to thrill readers with more heart-pounding suspense, spellbinding romance, and a cliff-hanger ending that will leave them desperate for the third and final novel in the series.

I have been awaiting this book ever since the end of Die For Me. I waited with a heavy heart though. Yes I wanted to find out what happened but the closer this series gets to the end... the more sad it makes me. Amy Plum is an amazing writer, her stories just pull me and snatch away reality, and that exactly what Until I Die did for me.

Its been a while since I have been fully engrossed in  a book. Something that just pulls you in and won't let go. I will admit that since receiving Until I Die, I have been putting off reading it. I got in January. Yes its true. I just don't want this series to end... and somehow have the mind set that if I don't read it... it won't be true.

Until I Die carries on Kate and Vincent's love story where it left off. We also get to meet two new revenants which I fell in love with immediately. Maybe a little prematurely? You can be the judge of that.

So for a while I escaped everything known to man and found the streets of paris with some hot revenants! I must admit... I am a little curious about Jules... mainly because in the last book he felt more like a big brother, but in this one I feel he has some major feelings for Kate. I would love to see this realization in the next book, if that is the route you were going for Ms Plum.

Anyways... Until I Die is a fabulous follow up to Die For Me. I think I actually found myself hanging onto the edge of my seat more with Until I Die than I did with the first book... if that says anything about the series... the next book... I may need a harness, cause more than likely I will be falling off the seat!

Confused ...Pissed Off and other things.

Okay so first off, I have not chosen any winners to the giveaways yet... Yes they have been over for a while and no I haven't picked winners. I honestly think my blog has kind of lost what it was originally all about and I think for a while the blog is going to go back to its principles and concentrate on what it loves... books. If you stick around... you do and if you don't , you don't. A lot of you started following the blog because you loved what it was about, as the blog has grown, it has gotten a completely different feel to it, and honestly... I don't like it.

I have been getting hate mail! Seriously? most of you are adults! Stop threatening me... it doesn't accomplish anything but make me not want to blog anymore. I don't like feeling as though my blog has lost my interest, because that means its probably lost yours too. In the coming months I am going to slow down on the giveaways and get back to what I had initially started the blog for... Books!

Speaking of being pissed off and such... I don't know how many of you follow Amanda Hocking's blog... but I have followed her work since the beginning. I was just checking out updates and such and read that she might not finish the My Blood Approves series. I think I am a little bitter over that. I totally see her reasoning as a writer ... but as a reader and lover of the series, I am slowly dying inside! I secretly hope that she does finish it, I don't care if the final book pisses people off, I think that it would make it worse by not finishing it.

In the meantime I am going to continue to blog. If you decide not to stay that is completely your decision... but I feel that I have lost sight on what this blog was once about and it needs to get back to something that I feel comfortable producing. I hope you all understand... if you don't... don't send hate mail... I won't answer it and it doesn't make you any bigger of a person.
