Hackers and other things

Hackers...And other things

Okay so many of you are asking where the hell are the winners for the followers day appreciation thing. Well here is my group answer. Everyone would find out the winners much faster if two things occured. #1 Check your email... please. I don't advertise who the winners are until I hear back from them... that way I don't have to change the post once I post winners due to an unanswered email and #2... this is a big one! STOP HACKING MY ACCOUNTS. Currently my Twitter account has been hacked 8 times, my blogger account 4 times and rafflecopter... get ready for it... 43 times! One of the giveaways went from 5000+ entries to over 100k in the matter of minutes... I do monitor my accounts... I do notice when something is out of the norm and it does mess it up for everyone else. It makes me not want to blog or to giveaway things because of a few select people that keep hacking me.... it doesn't help your odds to hack my account and enter more times... I do notice when this happens, and it will disqualify any pervious entries... and from here on out...YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN ANYTHING ON THE SPARKLING REVIEWS BLOG!
You know who you are... and better yet thanks to the co-operation of Twitter, Blogger and Rafflecopter... I know who you are...

As for everyone else... thank you for standing by and waiting... Winners have been chosen and they have received their items. I will post names tomorrow. I also have some great giveaways coming up and would love you to email with some ideas!

  1. Seriously?!? That is terrible!! I'm sorry to hear that your kindness has been repaid in such a rotten way and hope that it is over now that you know who the culprits are.
Thanks for all the awesome giveaways, and congrats to the winners.

  2. Geez seriously what is wrong with people!? I'm so sorry to hear you had to deal with all of that craziness, how ridiculous!

  3. It really sucks that people do this. I have accidentally entered more than once on occasion (love that the new Rafflecopter keeps this from happening) but if I realize it, I contact the blog owner and ask them to remove the extras. But to hack someone's account to try to cheat & win, no way. I wouldn't know where to start anyway, lol.

Thank you so much for all the great giveaways that you do host. Although I have not won any (dang it, lol) I will keep trying the right way.

  7. I hate it when hackers invade the peaceful world of book bloggers! I had my twitter hacked about a week ago and spent several hours fixing it and undoing the damage. Ugghh! Life can suck sometimes.
It's really sad when people do stuff like that, especially for contests )=
Just keep smiling and forget about it!
