Title: Once Upon A Marigold
Author: Jean Ferris
Release Date: June 1, 2004

Blurb:
Christian is gaga for Princess Marigold. But he's just a commoner, and no match for royalty. Heck, he lives in a cave with a troll! And now he's discovered another reason to put his love-soggy heart on ice: Queen Olympia is scheming to take over the kingdom--and she'll bump off her own daughter to do it. Can Christian foil her diabolical plans?
It's been a really long time since I have read a fairy tale style book. Yes it's probably a little bit predictable, given the plot, but I have to read this! I have heard so many great things about it... I definitely plan to grab a copy of this at some point.

Title: Twice Upon A Marigold
Author: Jean Ferris
Release Date: April 6, 2009

Blurb:
Since Queen Olympia's fateful fall into the river, newlyweds Christian and Marigold have been living happily ever after. And they had every intention of keeping it that way--until they find out that Olympia may not be as gone as they thought. Turns out Olympia is alive and well in a faraway village, having lost her memory after her ill-timed tumble. But one day she awakes and remembers her previous glory as queen. Accompanied by Lazy Susan (Sleeping Beauty's slacker sister) and Stan Lucasa (a gentleman with a surprising destiny), Olympia returns, determined to take back the kingdom. Yet, thanks to a cast of familiar characters, grabbing the throne may not be as easy as Olympia thinks!
I think that it is probably pretty obvious why I want to read this one... Its the sequel to the first one. I haven't read either one, but I have a theroy that if you read one, you are required to read the sequel at some point... even if the first book wasn't your favorite in the world. I still have to read the sequel. I have made my way through some horrible series this way lol.
