The Werewolf Upstairs Review

Author: Ashlyn Chase
Release Date: Feb 1, 2011
Publisher: Source Books
Source: Author (Thanks Ashlyn!)

Decription:

Desperate for change, public defender Roz Wells decides moving into a new apartment is just what she needs to shake things up. But she'll get more than she bargained for when she starts dating the drop dead gorgeous boy next door, who just happens to be a shape-shifter...and quite possibly a criminal. Security salesman Konrad Wolfensen has made a living staging break-ins to spook people into buying his security system, but when he's accused of a much more serious crime, he'll have to enlist the help of his sexy new neighbor/girlfriend to keep his cute, slightly wild rear end out of jail.

Roz Wells has moved to Boston to be closer to her job and closer her her best friend Merry. Little did she know that she would be living in a building of paranormals!

Roz has just moved into her best friend Merry's apartment building, when she see's her sexy, strong, unbelievably handsome neighbor Konrad. Roz would like nothing more than to be noticed by Konrad , but what could he see in her? She is an over-weight lawyer, that dislikes her job and has low self-esteem... little does she know Konrad has noticed her.

Konrad has just met the new neighbor Roz Wells, and wow she is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. Though Konrad has a secret that could destroy any relationship that he makes with Roz... He is a werewolf!

The day after moving into her new apartment Roz goes to meet her new client (she's a public defender) ...but when she walks into the interrogation room she never thought her new client would also be her new neighbor and love interest.

I absolutely loved The Werewolf Upstairs. In Ashlyn's last book Strange Neighbors, it mentions Roz a little bit, but I really wanted to know more about her. What a great sequel! Roz is complex, strong, stubborn, determined and has image issues... like most of us do. She can't get over that she is over weight and a hottie like Konrad could possibly be interested in her, but he is wholeheartedly. I love how their relationship develops from being shy and uncertain, to a definite love for each other. There is no lack of delicious steamy romance, that will keep you turning pages and wanting more. Konrad seduced Roz and The Werewolf Upstairs seduced me!
