On My Wishlist

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where I list all the books I desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. It's also an event that you can join in with too - Mr Linky is always at the ready for you to link your own 'On My Wishlist' post. If you want to know more click HERE.

 Title: Impossible
Author: Nancy Werlin
Release Date: Aug 11, 2009

Description:
A beautifully wrought modern fairy tale from master storyteller and award-winning author Nancy Werlin.
Inspired by the classic folk ballad “Scarborough Fair,” this is a wonderfully riveting and haunting novel of suspense, romance, and fantasy. Lucy is seventeen when she discovers that she is the latest recipient of a generations-old family curse that requires her to complete three seemingly impossible tasks or risk falling into madness and passing the curse on to the next generation. Unlike her ancestors, though, Lucy has family, friends, and other modern resources to help her out. But will it be enough to conquer this age-old evil?

This book just sounds so good to me. I am thinking that I need to pick up a copy. During the Twitter party for the Halloween Read-a-Thon Wendy Delsol said it was sooo sooo good. That is enough justification for me to pick this one up :)

  Title: Entangled
Author: Cat Clarke
Release Date: Jan 2011

Description:
Grace meets enigmatic Ethan the night she's planning to kill herself. The next morning she wakes up in a strange room with a table, chair, pens and paper. There's nothing to do but write, and as she writes, Grace remembers the things she's tried so hard to forget.

The hazy memories lead Grace into a dark place where friendship, heartbreak and betrayal tangle together...

The cover is what initially made me want Entangled. But the description is amazing and sounds like something right up my alley. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this. I don't know if the ARC's are out or not but I would trade ANYTHING to get this book!

That's whats on my Wishlist this week :) What's On Yours?
